Who am I to judge if you’re drowning in an ocean or a teacup?
The fact remains you’re drowning.

Why attend counselling?

Making the decision to seek counselling is never made lightly. Sometimes it seems like no matter what you do, things just keep spiraling downward. Missing Peace offers a redirection of perspective along with alternate ways to tackle difficult situations.

Consistent negative emotions often translate into physical symptoms that include:

  • Irrational mood swings
  • Overwhelming sadness
  • Loss of motivation
  • Inattention to personal hygiene
  • Inattention to dietary needs
  • Poor digestion
  • Panic attacks
  • Insomnia or sleeplessness
  • Rashes or skin conditions

Left unchecked, over time these physical symptoms may manifest into more serious illnesses.

For all relationships, past and present, counselling offers valuable knowledge and clarity for the road ahead.

So why put it off any longer? Call Missing Peace now and begin the journey to emotional independence.

How many sessions will I require?

We find an initial appointment of 1.5 hours is required in order to familiarise your counsellor with you and your unique situation. After that, typically sessions span one hour unless negotiated otherwise.

Our effective formulas are designed around results. Our experience indicates just three to five appointments can provide the independence required to regain direction, confidence and peace of mind. And whilst each situation varies, if we feel you require therapy other than counselling, we’ll discuss the options with you to ensure the best treatment is offered to each individual.

What if counselling isn’t for me?

A good question… On occasions, clients may require more than counselling alone. At Missing Peace, if your counsellor believes you’re being hindered by a medical condition, we can assist in finding the correct medical assistance for you. For the best results, separate medical treatment is often carried out in conjunction with counselling.
